Are you a commercial food waste generator? The Rhode Island Food Climate Action Partnership (FCAP) now offers FREE support to grocery stores, corner stores, restaurants, schools, corporations, and other businesses and institutions in Providence, Pawtucket, Central Falls, Newport, and Middletown.
Our partners can help you find COST-SAVING ways to reduce your waste hauling costs and make a positive climate change impact at the same time. We are looking for 300 businesses and institutions to help us meet our goal to divert 150,000 pounds of food scraps from the landfill and deliver 375,000 of excess food to Rhode Island families in need in the next three years.
